1. Owner

In accordance with Spanish Law 34/2002 on information society services and electronic commerce (LSSI-CE), these are the details of the owner of slimdx.org and of the other websites in the Blosfera network:

  • Owner: José Carlos Martín Martín
  • Tax ID (NIF/CIF): 70809003F
  • Address: C/ Edgar Neville, 6, 28020 Madrid (España)
  • Contact email: soporte@blosfera.com

2. Purpose

Managed Code is part of Blosfera, a network of digital publications offering opinion and analysis on current affairs (technology, economy, video games, film, cars, sports, travel, music, science and other topics). The network also includes a forum, user profiles, private messages between users and a deals section.

Managed Code is an independent publication about software development. It is not the SlimDX project, which used this domain until 2019, is not affiliated with its developers or with Microsoft, and does not distribute SlimDX.

Access to the websites is free. Some features (taking part in the forum, sending messages) require registering and accepting the Terms of use.

3. Editorial responsibility

All articles are published under the editorial responsibility of the owner. They are opinion and analysis pieces: facts are based on public sources linked in the text itself, and assessments express the publication's point of view. If you spot a mistake, write to soporte@blosfera.com and we will look into it.

Cover images may be credited photographs or illustrations generated with artificial intelligence, which are labelled as such.

4. User content

Messages, photos and other content that users publish in the forum, on profiles or in private messages are the responsibility of their authors. We act as a hosting service provider: we moderate this content under the Terms of use and diligently remove illegal content we become aware of.

5. Point of contact (Digital Services Act)

As the single point of contact for authorities and users under Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act), you can write to soporte@blosfera.com, in English or Spanish. To report illegal content, follow the instructions in the Terms of use.

6. Intellectual property

The texts, design, logos and other original elements of the websites belong to the owner or are used under licence. You may quote short excerpts with a link to the source. Third-party brands and products mentioned belong to their respective owners.

7. Links, advertising and affiliate links

Articles link to third-party websites we do not control. The websites show advertising and, in the deals section, some links are affiliate links: if you buy through them we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Prices and availability depend on each store and may change at any time.

8. Governing law

This notice is governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you may go to the courts of your place of residence and you keep the protection granted by the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
